CP14-122 ) PF12-8 Request for Rehearing Pursuant to Section 19(a) of the Natural Gas Act, 15 U.S.C. 717r(a), and Rule 713 of the Rules of Practice of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission), 18 C.F.R. 385.713, the Sierra Club hereby requests rehearing of FERCs Order Granting Section 3 and Section 7 Authorizations and Approving Abandonment (Authorization Order), issued December 17, 2015, 153 FERC 61,300, in the above-captioned matter. The Order grants Lake Charles LNG Export Company, LLC (Lake Charles LNG Export) and Lake Charles LNG Company, LLC (Lake Charles LNG) (collectively, Applicants) authority to site, construct, and operate natural gas liquefaction equipment, liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facilities, and related pipeline infrastructure. Sierra Club asks that the Order and the Environmental Impact Statement for this project be withdrawn and that further environmental analysis be undertaken. Procedural History The above-captioned dockets, CP14-119, CP14-120, and CP14-122, concern a proposal to construct new facilities to export natural gas, including liquefaction facilities, at the site of an existing LNG import facility in Calcacsieu Parish, Louisiana.
